John Rogers

John has 60 years of Civil Engineering experience, almost entirely in Southern California, with brief detours to San Francisco and Monterey. He has worked for large and mid-sized firms, public agencies and most recently for a very small firm providing high-quality engineering and land surveying services to individuals, small developers and local agencies. He most enjoys solving difficult boundary and land use problems and assisting with entitlements and the resolution of property disputes.

Rune Storesund, D.Eng., P.E., G.E., F.ASCE

Governor - San Francisco

Dr. Storesund has over 20 years of planning, design, engineering, and construction experience and has worked on a variety of projects throughout California, the United States, and internationally. Dr. Storesund provides consulting services in all aspects of civil, geotechnical, water resources, ecological, restoration, and sustainability engineering projects. His expertise is on the application of reliability and risk-based approaches to engineering projects in order to effectively manage project uncertainties. Dr. Storesund has participated in all aspects of engineering projects; from preliminary reviews to detailed analyses to construction observations and post-project monitoring. He provides expert forensic engineering services for engineered systems.

Rami Selim

Governor - At Large 1

Rami Selim is a licensed civil engineer with 15 years of industry experience delivering infrastructure projects. As an Associate and leader at KPFF, he leads projects and multidisciplinary teams in sustainable site design, public works, transportation, and Design-Build delivery. Outside of project work, Rami is passionate about advancing the civil engineering profession and giving back through mentorship and community engagement. He enjoys supporting emerging engineers and helping shape a more sustainable, connected future through his role with ASCE.
